Hafele 372.27.508 Swing-Up Fitting, Hafele Free Space 1.8 offers an innovative solution for push-to-open applications, seamlessly blending functionality with modern design. This fitting is exceptionally versatile, accommodating up to 80% of all flap applications, making it ideal for various cabinetry needs. The light gray housing and nickel-plated support lever enhance its aesthetic appeal while ensuring durability. Designed for wood or aluminum frame doors, it allows for easy installation with a single pre-mounted screw and plugs into standard 32/37 mm line holes. The door opening angle can be adjusted to either 90° or 107°, providing flexibility to suit different spaces. With intuitive 3D door alignment and closing adjustment, achieving the perfect fit is effortless. This fitting is suitable for cabinet heights ranging from 225 mm to 650 mm and can support lid weights up to 13.4 kg, ensuring stable operation. Additionally, there’s no need for extra hinges or cover caps, simplifying the installation process. The supplied kit includes two fittings (right/left), mounting brackets with screws, a free push catch, and clear mounting instructions. Important Selecting the correct model depends on door height and then door weight which should also consider the weight of the handle. We recommend ordering the stronger fitting if in doubt. The lever arms are spring loaded. There is a risk of injury and damage to the fitting! After mounting the arms, do not press them down in the open position until the counterweight of the door is mounted. A Pozi Drive #2 bit is required for all screw installations and adjustment features, otherwise damage to the screw head is likely. Be certain that Euro screws which attach the fittings to the side panels are completely tight, drawing the fitting tight against the side wall. For tension adjustment feature, we recommend using a cordless driver as these screws are geared very low. Be sure to adjust both sides to the same tensioning position.
