LCN 1461-REG 696 FC Surface Closer BRASS combines durability and versatility for both commercial and institutional applications. This Grade 1 closer features a robust cast iron body and a full plastic cover, ensuring long-lasting performance. With a 1-1/4 inch diameter piston and a 3/4 inch diameter heat-treated pinion journal, it is engineered for reliability in high-traffic areas. Designed for ease of installation, the LCN 1461 is a non-handed closer that can be mounted on the hinge side, top jamb, or in a parallel arm configuration, accommodating right or left swinging doors. Its adjustable spring strength ranges from size 1 to 6, making it suitable for interior doors up to 5 feet and exterior doors up to 4 feet. Independent adjustment valves for backcheck, closing, and latching speeds are concealed behind the cover, ensuring tamper resistance. The LCN 1460 Series is designed for maximum versatility, available with multiple cover options, it can be used for both commercial and institutional applications. This Grade 1 closer features a cast iron body with a full compliment bearing, 1-1/4 In. diameter piston, 3/4 In. diameter single heat treated pinion journal and all weather fluid. Spring size is adjustable from size 1 to 6.
