NGP 701P 72" Mill Aluminum Polypropylene Pile Perimeter Seal is engineered for seamless integration with commercial restroom partitions. Constructed from durable aluminum alloy 6063 with a T5 temper, this perimeter seal provides a robust solution for enhancing the efficiency of door closures while maintaining a clean aesthetic. One of the standout features of the NGP 701P is its innovative design that eliminates breaks in the seal for closer mounting. This allows for easy attachment of closers and overhead holders directly to the frame through the weatherseal section, ensuring a streamlined installation process. The jamb sections come with slotted holes, enabling precise adjustments during setup. The polypropylene pile, presented in an attractive gray color, is designed to provide effective sound and air infiltration control, having been tested to ASTM E283 standards. Additionally, the head section remains undrilled, allowing for flexibility in installation, and rim exit device strikes can be mounted without the need for gasketing notching. Furnished with self-drilling #8 Tek-type screws, the NGP 701P is ready for quick installation. Certified by UL and compliant with NFPA standards, this product is ideal for use with hollow metal fire doors rated up to 3 hours and wood fire doors rated up to 90 minutes, ensuring both safety and performance in high-traffic areas.
