NGP 9800C 60" Charcoal Intumescent Fire Seal delivers exceptional performance for smoke and draft control in commercial spaces. Designed with the innovative NGP-Edge® Sealing System, this fire seal is classified under Category "G," ensuring it meets stringent safety standards for fire door applications. When exposed to temperatures of 275°F, the intumescent material expands up to 20 times its original thickness, effectively sealing gaps around and between doors during a fire, providing critical protection. This fire seal is not only moisture-resistant but also exhibits remarkable durability. It withstands aging, weathering, UV radiation, and exposure to various chemicals, making it suitable for both interior and exterior installations. The modified acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive offers high initial adhesion and long-term holding power, ensuring a secure fit in any environment. Measuring 1/2" wide and 1/16" tall, the seal is available in a 60" length, sold by the foot with a minimum order of 3 feet up to a 490' reel. With a temperature range suitable for long-term exposure from -30°F to 250°F, the NGP 9800C is ideal for diverse applications. Plus, it is REACH and RoHS compliant, reflecting NGP’s commitment to safety and environmental standards.
