NGP 9800GR 36" Gray Intumescent Fire Seal is designed to provide exceptional smoke and draft control, ensuring safety in commercial spaces. Featuring the NGP-Edge® Sealing System, this fire seal is classified under G for its reliable performance. When exposed to temperatures of 275°F, the intumescent materials expand up to 20 times their original thickness, effectively sealing gaps around and between doors during a fire, which is crucial for maintaining safety standards. This fire seal is not only moisture-resistant but also boasts a modified acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, offering high initial adhesion and long-term holding power for permanent installation in both exterior and interior locations. It withstands aging, weathering, UV radiation, and various chemicals, making it a durable choice for demanding environments. Measuring 1/2" wide and 1/16" tall, the gray seal can be purchased by the foot, with a minimum length of 3 feet to a maximum of 490 feet. The adhesive is suitable for long-term exposure in temperatures ranging from -30°F to 250°F, with a shelf life of one year when stored properly. NGP 9800GR is also REACH and RoHS compliant, ensuring it meets environmental safety standards.
