NGP GAP90-ME 84" Meeting Edge and Door Perimeter Gap Solution is a UL Certified option designed to address excessive clearance between the meeting edges of a pair of fire doors, accommodating gaps up to 3/8". This product is suitable for both hollow metal and wood fire-rated doors, maintaining fire safety standards for up to 90 minutes. The non-handed design allows for easy installation on either left or right-hand doors, and it can be fitted with surface or concealed vertical rod exit devices, as well as manual or automatic flush bolts. Notably, the GAP90-ME can be installed with the door still on its hinges, providing added convenience during setup. Constructed from 20-gauge steel, the formed metal edge is embossed with the UL mark for assurance of quality and compliance. The product is available in two sizes-84" and 96"-and comes finished in a durable primer gray powder coat. Included in the hardware pack are #10 x 3/4" and #10 x 2-1/2" fasteners, along with GapGuard™ Fire Caulk. With its patented design (US Patent US 11,885,175 B2), the NGP GAP90-ME is certified for use in both the US and Canada, ensuring versatility and reliability for commercial applications.
