The MLC-32I is part of OSSI’s global series (MAC) hardware. This programmable logic controller is built specifically for monitoring system inputs, both analog and digital. The MLC-32I is equipped with distributed intelligence as each controller has its own processor and follows its own program. Ladder logic programming comes pre-configured to make start-up easy, but can be modified to meet your specific application. The distributed processing and peer-to-peer communications makes this system highly robust as each component continues to function regardless of the condition of the rest of the system. The integrated Lonworks communications protocol and flexible communications topology supports up to 63 controllers on one trunk line. If one of the nodes is a repeater, another 63 controllers can be added.
