NGP 222SA 36" Anodized Aluminum Automatic Door Bottom with Silicone Seal offers a robust solution for sealing gaps under doors, enhancing both energy efficiency and comfort in commercial spaces. This door bottom is BHMA Certified to ANSI/BHMA A156.22, ensuring it meets rigorous performance standards, including a 1,000,000 cycle test rating. Constructed from durable Aluminum Alloy 6063 with a T5 temper finish, this product is designed to withstand extreme conditions, boasting a temperature range of -100°F to 500°F while remaining flexible. The integrated silicone seal features a closed cell sponge made of synthetic rubber polymer, providing excellent moisture resistance and flexibility. It is also flame-resistant and highly resistant to ozone, UV, and aging. For optimal performance, it is recommended to mount the door bottom on the push side of the door and use it with a threshold for maximum sealing capability. If a threshold is not available, a nylon brush is suggested. The NGP 222SA is available in lengths of 36" and can be cut in the field, making it adaptable to various installation needs. End caps are included as standard, ensuring a clean and professional finish.
