Richelieu FELRX11404 Retarder for Water-Based Coatings is expertly formulated to slow the evaporation of coatings, ensuring optimal application and finish quality. Designed to be added to the stain base ELSWB104, this retarder effectively extends the "open time," allowing for improved wiping characteristics that enhance the overall aesthetic of your project. The versatility of FELRX11404 shines when used in topcoats, as it minimizes the risk of mud-cracking and enables the film to remain open longer, allowing trapped air generated during the spraying process to escape. This is particularly beneficial for achieving a flawless finish, especially in machine spray applications where it also aids in reducing tip-clogging, ensuring consistent performance. With a convenient volume of 1 gallon, this water-based retarder meets the needs of both professionals and knowledgeable homeowners seeking high-quality results. The product is part of the Envirolak brand, renowned for its specialty products that enhance the performance of coatings. Shipments can be conveniently handled via UPS, making it easier to access this essential tool for your next project.
