Richelieu SK5BL Storm Door Deadbolt adds an essential layer of security to your storm and screen doors. Designed for quick and easy installation, this interior deadbolt allows you to secure your door from the inside, providing peace of mind while allowing for light and ventilation through your main door. The SK5 features a user-friendly installation process that requires drilling just two holes on the door surface and installing a strike plate on the jamb. Its design allows for versatile mounting above the handle, making it convenient and safe, especially in homes with young children, as it can be positioned out of their reach. This deadbolt is also suitable for both left and right-opening doors; simply turn it over for the desired orientation. Crafted from durable zinc and finished in sleek black, the SK5BL fits all storm door thicknesses and measures 31/32 inches in height and 2 17/32 inches in both length and width. While the SK5 provides added security, it is important to note that it is not a high-security lock; continued vigilance is advised to protect your home and belongings. For added options, keyed versions are available in the 703 and GLK series.
