Sargent 1431-P9 TB EB Grade 1 Surface Mount Closer offers exceptional performance and reliability for both interior and exterior doors. This surface-mounted door closer features a standard parallel arm design, ensuring easy installation with through bolts and a sleek sprayed dark bronze enamel finish, making it an attractive addition to any building. Engineered to meet the demands of architects and building owners, the 1431 Series exceeds 15 million cycles, ensuring durability and longevity. It is certified ANSI/BHMA A156.4 Grade 1 and is UL 10C listed for positive pressure fire tests, with a fire rating of up to 3 hours, making it suitable for fire-rated doors. The versatile mounting options allow for standard, top jamb, parallel, and track installations, accommodating various applications with ease. With adjustable spring power, the closer accommodates sizes 1 through 6, factory adjusted to size 3. Its high-impact, non-corrosive plastic cover is standard, while metal covers are available as an option. The all-weather fluid ensures optimal operation in extreme temperatures without the need for readjustment.
