SDC 1561ITC B Concealed Shear Lock delivers high security with its totally concealed, failsafe locking mechanism, ensuring a superior aesthetic for any door. Operating at 12/24VDC, this electromagnetic lock boasts a remarkable 2,000 lbs. of holding force, making it ideal for commercial-grade hollow metal and wood doors, as well as Herculite doors with top rails. The lock features an innovative floating armature assembly and special alloy steel locking tabs that allow for vertical and lateral adjustments, accommodating wide door gaps and warped or misaligned doors. The SDC Hi/Shear is a totally concealed, high security, failsafe locking mechanism with superior appearance. The patented Hi/Shear electromagnetic lock design incorporates a ñfloatingî armature assembly and special alloy steel locking ñtabsî on both the lock and armature assemblies, that may be adjusted both vertically and laterally to compensate for wide door gaps and warped or misaligned doors. Hi/Shear magnetic locks are ideal for use on commercial grade hollow metal and wood doors and frames and Herculite doors with top rails.
