Von Duprin 967244 26D Emergency Lockdown Kit

Von Duprin 967244 26D Emergency Secure Lockdown Kit provides an essential safety solution for high-occupancy spaces, such as auditorium-style classrooms. Designed for use with Von Duprin 98 QEL 36" exit devices, this kit features a visual indicator in a striking red with a white "LOCKDOWN" text, ensuring occupants can easily identify the lockdown status. In emergency situations, users can activate the lockdown by turning the thumb turn or using the cylinder key. This interrupts the power to the QEL motor, electronically undogging and extending the latchbolt to secure the pull side of the door. The system simultaneously sends a signal to the access control system, enhancing overall security while maintaining free egress from the exit side. This field-reversible kit meets fire and life safety codes, allowing for quick and easy upgrades to existing devices. Moreover, it features modular conversion kits for seamless installation, and labels provide clear instructions for secure locking. The matte silver finish (626/US26D) complements various commercial applications, while the unit is backed by a one-year limited warranty. Ensure safety and security in your building with the Von Duprin Emergency Secure Lockdown Kit.
