The ABH 9028 Surface Mount Overhead Holder Stop is engineered for high-traffic environments where durability and reliability are paramount. This heavy-duty, surface-mounted solution provides essential stop, hold-open, and friction functions, making it ideal for frequently used doors in commercial and industrial settings.

Crafted from robust stainless steel, the 9028 features a bright brass finish (US3) that not only enhances aesthetic appeal but also ensures long-lasting performance in various applications, including both interior and exterior use. The non-handed design allows for easy installation, while the shock-absorbing spring provides a 3° to 5° cushion before reaching a dead stop, protecting both the door and the hardware from wear and tear.

With an operating range of 85° to 110° in 5° increments, this holder stop accommodates a variety of door swings. It is UL Listed for fire ratings of 20 minutes for wood and 90 minutes for hollow metal door assemblies when used in the stop function. Fasteners are included for doors measuring 1-3/4" to 2-1/4".
