Acorn CG8L 2-1/2" 8d Sheathing Nails, 50 lb

Acorn CG8L Sheathing Nails-2-1/2" 8d-50 Pound are essential for securely attaching sheathing to wood studs and for face-nailing thick board flooring. Designed with a flat head, these nails provide a reliable fastening solution, similar to Cut Spikes but tailored for specific applications. Made using original 19th and early 20th-century nail machines, each nail boasts a unique character, which may result in slight variations in head shape and length, adding to their handcrafted appeal. Manufactured with durability in mind, Acorn's Cut Nails are engineered to resist pull-out, thanks to their distinctive shape that drives wood fibers downward and creates a wedging effect. This design enhances their holding power, making them an ideal choice for both professional builders and discerning homeowners seeking quality materials for their projects. Packaged in a convenient 50-pound bulk, these nails not only promise strength but also provide an economical option for larger-scale endeavors. Proudly produced in Mansfield, Massachusetts, Acorn nails combine traditional craftsmanship with modern reliability, ensuring that once you experience their performance, they will become your go-to choice for all your fastening needs.

Sheathing Nails-2-1/2" 8d-50 Pound

Sheathing Nails are used for attaching sheathing to wood studs and for face-nailing thick board flooring. Similar to Cut Spikes but with flat heads. Available in Standard Finish only. All our nails are made on original 19th century and early 20th century nail machines, this may lead to variation in head shape and slight differences in nail length. Tremont Nails are proudly manufactured and packaged in Mansfield Massachusetts. Cut nails posses great durability. They are hard to pull out because the shape causes the wood fibers to push downward and wedge against the nails, greatly strengthening the holding power. Once you have used them you will prefer to use them for all of you projects.
