Acorn CK40ZV Cut Spikes-5" 40d-Hot-Dip Galvanized-5 Pound offer exceptional durability and performance for heavy construction applications. Designed to excel in demanding projects, these cut spikes are perfect for driving through planking and heavy timber, making them ideal for deck and bridge work. Each spike is crafted using traditional techniques on one of Acorn's oldest nail machines, dating back to 1865, ensuring a product steeped in craftsmanship and quality. The hot-dip galvanized finish provides enhanced corrosion resistance, making these spikes suitable for outdoor use in various climates. With approximately 10 spikes per pound, you can count on these strong, reliable fasteners to hold firm under pressure. Their unique shape guarantees that wood fibers push down and wedge against the spikes, significantly improving holding power and making them difficult to pull out once driven in. Acorn's commitment to quality means that every batch reflects slight variations in head shape and nail length, adding a unique touch to each spike. Proudly manufactured and packaged in Mansfield, Massachusetts, the CK40ZV Cut Spikes are the perfect choice for builders who prioritize strength and reliability in their construction projects.
