Acorn CK50ZV Cut Spikes - 5-1/2" 50d Hot-Dip Galvanized - 5 Pound offer an exceptional solution for heavy construction needs. Designed for durability, these cut spikes are ideal for driving through planking and heavy timber, making them perfect for deck and bridge work. Crafted on one of the oldest nail machines in the industry, dating back to 1865, each spike is meticulously made by heating steel plates and feeding them by hand, ensuring a level of quality that modern machines cannot match. With a production rate of 40 spikes per minute, these nails are available in both a standard finish and a hot-dip galvanized option, providing versatility for various projects. The cut nails possess remarkable holding power; their unique shape pushes wood fibers downward, making them difficult to remove once installed. This feature enhances their reliability, making them a preferred choice for builders and DIY enthusiasts alike. Each 5-pound package contains approximately 9 nails per pound, ensuring you have a sufficient supply for your projects. Proudly manufactured and packaged in Mansfield, Massachusetts, Acorn CK50ZV Cut Spikes combine traditional craftsmanship with modern utility, allowing you to tackle any heavy-duty task with confidence.
