Acorn CN6V Hinge Nail 2" 6d 5 lb

Acorn CN6V Hinge Nail-2" 6d-5 Pound offers a reliable solution for fastening antique hinges and face-nailing floors, ensuring your projects maintain both functionality and authenticity. Crafted from a slightly lighter gauge of steel compared to traditional boat nails, these Hinge Nails deliver more nails per pound without compromising on strength or durability. Manufactured using original 19th and early 20th-century nail machines in Mansfield, Massachusetts, each nail exhibits unique variations in head shape and length, adding to the handcrafted charm. The cut nail design provides exceptional holding power, as the shape effectively pushes wood fibers downward, creating a strong wedge effect that makes them difficult to pull out. This feature not only enhances the nail's grip but also ensures lasting performance in various applications. Available in a Standard Finish, the Acorn CN6V Hinge Nails are perfect for both restoration projects and new builds, making them a preferred choice for builders and knowledgeable homeowners alike. Once you experience the superior quality and effectiveness of these nails, you'll find them indispensable for all your woodworking needs. Trust Acorn to deliver time-tested craftsmanship that stands the test of time.

Hinge Nail-2" 6d-5 Pound

Hinge Nails are ideal for fastening antique hinges and sometimes used for face-nailing floors. The head style is similar to a Boat Nail but Hinge Nails are made from a slightly lighter gauge of steel providing more nails per pound. Available in Standard Finish only. All our nails are made on original 19th century and early 20th century nail machines, this may lead to variation in head shape and slight differences in nail length. Tremont Nails are proudly manufactured and packaged in Mansfield Massachusetts. Cut nails posses great durability. They are hard to pull out because the shape causes the wood fibers to push downward and wedge against the nails, greatly strengthening the holding power. Once you have used them you will prefer to use them for all of you projects.
