Acorn CT4 Clout Nail-1-1/2" 4d-1 Pound offers a versatile solution for a range of construction and repair projects. Designed similarly to shingle nails but crafted from lighter gauge steel, these clout nails excel in box and crate construction, as well as the application of thin siding and paneling. Their utility extends to furniture repair, cabinet work, batten doors, and countertops, making them an essential addition to any toolkit. Manufactured using original 19th-century and early 20th-century nail machines, each nail exhibits slight variations in head shape and length, adding a unique character to your projects. The clout nails are available in a standard finish, ensuring a clean and professional appearance for your work. One of their standout features is their durability; the cut nail design enhances holding power by pushing wood fibers downward, making them difficult to pull out once installed. Clout Nail are also used in furniture repair, cabinet work, batten doors, and countertops. Available in Standard Finish only. All our nails are made on original 19th century and early 20th century nail machines, this may lead to variation in head shape and slight differences in nail length.
