Adams Rite 4920AN-45-000-628 ANSI DeadLatch 1.5" Installation Guide

Adams Rite 4920AN-45-000-628 ANSI DeadLatch is a robust, heavy-duty solution designed for hollow metal or wood doors prepared to ANSI specifications. This deadlatch features a flat faceplate with a backset of 1-1/2 inches, providing flexibility in traffic control for commercial environments. The key-controlled bolt hold-back function allows the door to be free-swinging during specific hours, making it ideal for creating an exit-only pathway while maintaining security. Constructed from steel with corrosion-resistant plating, the 4920AN boasts a solid brass latch bolt and a stainless steel auxiliary latchpin that prevents unauthorized entry methods. Its armored flat faceplate can be adjusted on-site for right or left beveled edge doors, ensuring compatibility with various installations. The deadlatch is operable by any standard 1-5/32 inch diameter mortise cylinder with MS cam, with easy installation requiring only a screwdriver for reversible handing. Individually boxed with all necessary mounting hardware, the Adams Rite 4920AN Heavy Duty DeadLatch is a reliable choice for professionals seeking durability and performance. With a limited five-year warranty and a shipping weight of just 1.25 lbs, this deadlatch is a practical addition to any commercial security setup.

ANSI DeadLatch 1-1/2

Heavy Duty ANSI Size Deadlatch, Flat Faceplate, 1-1/2 In. Backset, Less Strike, LH or RHR, Satin Aluminum

For hollow metal or wood doors prepared for hardware according to the specifications of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), 4920AN Heavy Duty Deadlatches provide precise traffic control. A key-controlled bolt hold-back feature allows a door to free-swing part of the day and exit-only when the bolt is free to latch. This allows a "locked" entrance to be used as an exit by customers or visitors already in the building. Interchangeable, without door modification, with any MS1850SN Deadlock of same faceplate shape and backset. Replaces 4520 and 4720 ANSI Deadlatches. Steel case with corrosion-resistant plating. Solid brass latch bolt. Handing is easily reversible using only a screwdriver. Stainless steel auxiliary latchpin deadlocks latchbolt to prevent "loiding"or case-knife entry. Armored flat faceplate can also be adjusted in the field for right or left beveled edge doors. 4506-02 Strike furnished to ANSI preparation specifications for flat jamb. 4920AN Heavy Duty Deadlatches are operable by any standard 1-5/32 In. diameter mortise cylinder with MS cam. Individually boxed with faceplate, strike, and machine screws for mounting. Order cylinders, paddles, handles or lever operators separately.
