Arrow Lock AL500-36-689-RR 36 Inch Alarmed Pushbar offers enhanced security for commercial spaces that require an audible alarm upon exit. This wide stile pushpad rim exit device is designed to deter unauthorized access while ensuring safety during emergencies. Once armed, any movement of the push rail triggers a powerful 103 dB pulsating horn that sounds for two minutes, notifying personnel of a potential breach. Equipped with a microprocessor-based alarm board, this device features tamper-resistant latching (Guarded Latch) for added protection. The 36-inch unit is battery-powered and includes a low battery alert, making maintenance straightforward. The flashing red LED serves as a visible indication of alarm activation, and the system can be reset only with a key, ensuring controlled access. Installation is tailored for right-hand reverse doors with a width of 32-1/4 to 36 inches. The unit utilizes a 1-1/8" mortise cylinder for arming and disarming, which is sold separately. Designed for areas that require an alarm to sound upon exiting.

Once armed, any push rail movement will activate the horn in the push rail. The horn will continue to sound for two (2) minutes and shut off automatically. The LED will flash, indicating a violation has occurred.
