C.R. Laurence 72NGA48 48" Medium-Duty Automatic Door Bottom Aluminum offers an innovative solution for maintaining a tight seal between your door and threshold. This mechanically actuated door bottom features an internal carrier bar with a durable vinyl insert that drops from a concealed cavity, ensuring exceptional performance, especially in carpeted interiors where the door bottom retracts upon opening. The CRL Medium-Duty Automatic Door Bottom is designed for full mortise installation and is field reversible, accommodating either hand of the door. It can also be trimmed up to 2 inches shorter to fit your specific requirements. The actuation mechanism functions optimally when installed on the door; proper sealing occurs when the back edge drops onto the sill, allowing the front edge to follow suit for a complete seal. Adjustments can be easily made to the threaded hex plunger to increase seal pressure against the sill. With a full height of 1-3/8 inches, a width of 19/32 inches, and a finish color in aluminum, this door bottom combines functionality with a sleek appearance. Ensure your spaces remain energy-efficient and secure with the reliable performance of the C.R. Laurence 72NGA48 Automatic Door Bottom.
