DynaLock 3101C-TJ101 DSM Delay Egress Maglock is engineered to meet the dual demands of life safety codes and high security applications. This single electromagnetic lock features delayed egress functionality, making it an ideal solution for inswing doors. The advanced technology of the 3101C series ensures enhanced resistance to electrical surges while offering a virtually maintenance-free operation through its sophisticated sensing system. In typical usage, the door remains closed and latched by existing mechanical hardware, secured by the 3101C Lock. When a user applies 15 lbs. of pressure or less, the door unlatches, triggering the delay egress timer. An audible alert and pulsating red LED signal for 15 seconds (or 30 seconds, field selectable) before the lock releases. A built-in key switch or remote signal allows for easy reset or bypass. Additionally, the system integrates seamlessly with emergency fire alarm systems, unlocking automatically when triggered. Constructed with a one-piece housing and designed for both rated and non-rated doors and frames, the 3101C is built to withstand the rigors of commercial environments. The 3101C Series is designed to satisfy life safety codes and high security needs at the same time. The next generation 3101C system offers better technology, resistance to electrical surges, and a virtually maintenance free sensing system. In a typical installation, the door is normally closed and latched by the existing mechanical door hardware and magnetically secured by the 3101C Lock. Attempting to exit by applying 15 Lbs. or less pressure to the door will cause the door to become unlatched, and activate the 3101C delay egress timer. The audible and red LED will pulsate for 15 seconds (30 seconds field selectable). After the time delay has elapsed, the lock will release and the audible will sound continuously with a green LED until the door is shut and the lock is reset. Reset and/or bypass are accomplished with a built-in key switch or remote signal. The system unlocks automatically when the 3101B is integrated with the building emergency fire alarm system or power is removed. Fire alarm contacts on the 3101C Lock are field selectable for NO and NC signals
