It excels in environments with fluctuating humidity levels and is particularly well-suited for doors with heavier finishes, such as laminated or painted surfaces. The DP-300 is fully concealed within a wood door with a minimum thickness of 33 mm (1-5/16 in), maintaining a clean appearance. To install, the door must be fabricated in two parts: a thicker section (minimum 27 mm or 1-1/16 in) featuring a groove, and a decorative skin that covers the hardware. The adjustment mechanism is conveniently located at the top end of the door, allowing for easy tuning. Available in four sizes to accommodate various door height ranges (74 3/4 to 82 5/8 in), this straightener/stiffener is a vital addition for ensuring long-lasting door performance. Note that a minimum of two sets is required per door, and while it aids in preventing future warping, it does not rectify doors that are already bent.
