For optimal performance, the door should be fabricated in two parts: a thicker section (minimum 27 mm or 1-1/16 in) featuring a groove, paired with a decorative skin covering the hardware. The adjustment is conveniently located at one end, typically at the top of the door, allowing for easy access and fine-tuning. Available in four sizes to accommodate door height ranges from 82 5/8 to 90 1/2 inches, this stiffener supports doors with widths ranging from 23 5/8 to 72 inches and thicknesses between 1 5/16 to 3 5/32 inches. For best results, it is recommended to order a minimum of two sets per door to ensure effective reinforcement.
