SDC 1562ITC D Concealed Shear Lock

SDC 1562ITC D Concealed Shear Lock is a high-security, failsafe locking mechanism designed for both aesthetic appeal and robust performance. With its concealed design, this electromagnetic lock operates at 12/24 VDC and offers a remarkable 2,000 lbs. of holding force, ensuring maximum security for your premises. The lock features a door position switch and is suitable for door frames ranging from 1-1/4" to 1-3/4" in depth, making it versatile for various installations. The patented Hi/Shear design incorporates a floating armature assembly and special alloy steel locking tabs that can be adjusted both vertically and laterally, accommodating wide door gaps and misaligned doors. This makes the lock ideal for commercial-grade hollow metal and wood doors, as well as Herculite doors with top rails. Engineered for interior doors, perimeter exits, and emergency release scenarios, the SDC 1562ITC D is part of the Excel™ product line, which emphasizes ease of installation and maintenance. The SDC Hi/Shear is a totally concealed, high security, failsafe locking mechanism with superior appearance. The patented Hi/Shear electromagnetic lock design incorporates a ñfloatingî armature assembly and special alloy steel locking ñtabsî on both the lock and armature assemblies, that may be adjusted both vertically and laterally to compensate for wide door gaps and warped or misaligned doors. Hi/Shear magnetic locks are ideal for use on commercial grade hollow metal and wood doors and frames and Herculite doors with top rails.

Suited for interior doors, perimeter exit doors and entrances that require failsafe emergency release capability.
