Smedbo Spare Parts: Which Glass or Porcelain Insert, Brush Head or Blade Fits Your Holder

A glass tumbler broke, a porcelain soap dish chipped or a toilet brush head wore out, and you need the Smedbo spare that fits your holder. Smedbo usually prints the fit in the spare's own description; this page shows how to read those lines and which holder each spare is made for.

Where Smedbo prints the fit

Smedbo shows spare parts like these, together with other extras, in the XTRA collection on its website. The description of each glass or porcelain spare names the series and the product number it is made for, written with a # sign. Two examples, word for word: "XTRA Spare Frosted Glass Shelf. For ICE #347." (O350) and "XTRA Spare Porcelain Container. for AIR/HOME/HOUSE/ICE/POOL #333. Height 160 mm." (O334). On our product pages for these spares, for example O334, the same line closes the description.

How to find the spare for your holder

1. Find the item number of your holder, for example HK342, on your order or on the page where you bought it.
2. Match the number. In the examples on Smedbo's pages, the # number in a fit line is the number part of the holder's item number. Smedbo's HK342 is a HOME "Holder with Soap Dish", and the spare soap dishes name #342.
3. Check that your series is in the fit line. The series is printed on Smedbo's product pages, for example "Serie: HOME" on HK342. The lists differ from spare to spare: the frosted glass soap dish L348 names AIR/HOME/HOUSE/ICE/POOL/TIME #342, the porcelain soap dish O348 only AIR/HOME/HOUSE/ICE #342.
4. Choose the material. It is part of each spare's name: frosted glass, clear glass or porcelain. Holders differ too: on Smedbo's pages HK342 has a soap dish in frosted glass and HK342P one in porcelain, and HK343 and HK343P differ the same way in their tumblers.
5. Check any size Smedbo prints. Two of the #347 shelves carry one: L350 (LOFT) is 600 mm long and 120 mm wide, P350 (AIR/POOL/Time) 600 mm long and 135 mm wide.

Glass and porcelain inserts: Smedbo's fit lines

The table lists the 15 glass and porcelain inserts in the XTRA collection on Smedbo's US site, with the series and # number from each fit line.

Smedbo's HOME holder pages show what the numbers stand for: HK333 is a wall mounted toilet brush, HK342 a holder with soap dish, HK343 a holder with tumbler, HK347 a frosted glass bathroom shelf 600 mm long and HK369 a holder with glass soap dispenser. In the VILLA series, V243 is a holder with a clear glass tumbler. The N334 line also names "FK101/102/301, FK302/306, FK603/607".

Toilet brush heads and brushes with handle

• H233N (black) and H234N (white), nylon: "XTRA Spare Brush for Toilet Brush, Black. For all Smedbo Toilet Brushes." H234N reads the same with "White".
• H235S: "XTRA Spare Brush for Toilet Brush, Black. Black TPR. For all Smedbo Toilet Brushes." Smedbo spells TPR out as Thermo Plastic Rubber.
• HK237 (polished stainless steel handle) and HS237 (brushed stainless steel handle): a white brush with handle, height 370 mm. Both lines say: "Can only be used in open Toilet Brush Glass."

The spare containers N334 and O334 name #333 (in the HOME series, HK333). Smedbo describes HK332 as a HOME toilet brush with a plastic insert and K233 as a free standing VILLA toilet brush with a plastic insert, and no spare in the XTRA collection names #332 or #233. For those two, the XTRA spares that apply are the brush heads H233N, H234N and H235S, which Smedbo lists "For all Smedbo Toilet Brushes". For any other part of these brushes, contact our support team before you order.

Squeegee blades, bin liners and cloths

• D360 and D361 appear on Smedbo's US and UK sites only under Swedish names, "Reservblad till DK2110" and "Reservblad till DK2120" (reservblad is Swedish for spare blade). Match the code after "till" with the code of your squeegee. Smedbo's US site has a page with item code DK2110- under the Swedish name "DUSCHSKRAPA POLERAD KROM" and no description; we found no DK2120 page on its US or UK site.
• F971: "XTRA Bin liners for Pedal Bin FK662 - FK667. Trash bags for bin. 6 liter (40 pcs)."
• 6000-11: "XTRA iComposite iCleaner Cleaning Cloth. For surfaces to be glued."
• V590: Smedbo names it "Fibre cloth for polishing of metals".

Mounting plates F966 and FB966

Smedbo describes F966 as a polished chrome mounting plate "For Single Hooks and other Shower Baskets" in Smedbo's range, 2 plates, and adds "Not for DK2031, ZK3455." FB966 is Smedbo's matt black mounting plate: "XTRA Mounting Plate for glue. Matt Black. For Shower Basket DB3001 and Single Hook RB3455. 2 Plates." Smedbo's pages for both list the assembly as glue. Smedbo's one-page fitting instructions (#966) cover the XTRA mounting plate with i.Composite GLUEMIX and refer to the instructions on the i.Composite package; download them from the F966 page on Smedbo's site.

A "Spare Toilet Roll Holder" is not a spare part

A "Spare Toilet Roll Holder", such as H320N, holds a reserve roll of toilet paper. Smedbo's H320N page describes it as a "Spare paper holder intended for 1 roll". It is not a replacement part.
