Belwith Keeler and Hickory Hardware Item Numbers, Collections and Finish Codes

Belwith Keeler and Hickory Hardware identify their knobs, pulls, hooks and hinges by item numbers such as HH075328-CH or B077992CH. This guide shows how to read those numbers as the two makers print them, which collections and product types they use, and what the finish code at the end means.

Belwith Keeler and Hickory Hardware on our store

The footers of belwith.com and hickoryhardware.com describe each brand as "a Keeler Brass Company brand". On our store each brand has its own page, Belwith Keeler and Hickory Hardware. Our product titles start with the brand and the item number, as in Hickory Hardware HH075328-CH 128mm Skylight Pull.

How to read a Belwith Keeler or Hickory Hardware item number

In these examples from the makers' own listings, the item number is a base number for the design and size, followed by a finish code:

• HH075328-CH - the 128mm Skylight pull in Chrome on hickoryhardware.com; in Elusive Golden Nickel it is HH075328-EGN. The 96mm and 160mm Skylight pulls have their own base numbers, HH075327 and HH075329.
• H076702-CBZ and H077849CBZ - a Forge pull and a Piper knob, both in Champagne Bronze. Hickory Hardware prints the first with a hyphen before the finish code and the second without one.
• B077992CH and B078830-CBZ - the 12 inch center-to-center Coventry and Brownstone appliance pulls on belwith.com, again without and with a hyphen.
• B07799314 - the 18 inch center-to-center Coventry appliance pull in Polished Nickel. Here the finish code 14 follows the number directly; the 18 inch Brownstone pull is printed as B078831-14.

Copy the number exactly as printed, with or without the hyphen. Our titles use the maker's form, for example H077849CBZ and HH075328-CH.

Letter prefixes and pack numbers

Letters at the start of a number, such as B, P, H, HH or R, are part of the item number; the maker pages we read do not explain them, so keep them as printed. Pack items have numbers of their own:

• VP244-SN, the Hickory Hardware self-closing surface hinge, is listed on hickoryhardware.com as Surface Self-Closing Hinge (20 Pack), finish "Satin Nickel, 20 Pack".
• The Project Packs pages of the Hickory Hardware 2025 catalog give a quantity for each pack number: 10 for VP14444-SN (Conquest pull), VP5124-14 (concealed hinge) and V10HH075593-SS (bar pull), 20 for VP244-SN.
• R077746SNX-10G, a 3 inch Heritage Designs Pier pull, is listed in the finish "Satin Nickel, Multipack", with Matte Black and Brushed Brass multipacks as its other finish choices.
• VP can also stand at the end of a number, as in the Vibra Pewter hinge P243-VP: there it is the finish code, which Hickory Hardware's finishes page lists as Vibra Pewter.

Other prefixes in our item numbers, such as V02 or C02, are not explained on the maker pages we read, so check the Units Per Package line in the attributes of our product page before you order: it reads 2 for V02P27120-W and C02H075746-AL, 20 for VP244-SN and 1 for the other items listed below.

Finish codes at the end of the number

These are the codes you will see most often in our Belwith Keeler and Hickory Hardware item numbers. The names are the same on the Belwith Keeler finishes page and in the finish chart on page 4 of the Hickory Hardware 2025 catalog, which prints Chrome as 26/CH and Satin Nickel as 15/SN.

This is a selection; both makers list more codes, such as GLCH, Glass with Chrome (see the Hickory Hardware finishes page). If a color word in one of our product titles differs from the maker's finish name, go by the finish code: BGB is Brushed Golden Brass on both makers' charts.

belwith.com sorts its collections into five groups. A few examples of each from the site's collection menu:

The Bijou collections have their own 2025 catalog; its Astoria page lists a knob (B056407-SN), a mock key (B056379-SN), a backplate (B056380-SN) and a ring pull (B056405-SN) in Satin Nickel.

hickoryhardware.com lists its collections alphabetically: the collections page names 67, from Altair to Zephyr, including American Diner, Forge, Piper, Skylight, Studio and Williamsburg. The Hickory Hardware 2025 catalog follows its A to Z collections with sections for the Heritage Collection, Bath Hardware, Appliance Pulls, Hooks, Drawer Slides, Hinges, Hand Rails, Multi Packs and Accessories.

Sizes: center to center and multi-hole pulls

Our cabinet pull sizes guide explains center to center, length and projection. Page 7 of the Hickory Hardware 2025 catalog notes that several designs have more than one center-to-center spacing on the same piece: its example, the Dover cup pull H078775BGB, has mounting points at 3 inch, 96mm and 128mm and, according to the catalog, can be installed on pre-drilled holes at any of them.
