Hafele closet fittings are ordered by item number. Hafele's catalog groups them as TAG Closet Fittings (collections such as TAG Synergy Elite, TAG Synergy, TAG Signature and TAG ENGAGE), Closet Fittings and Closet Accessories. This guide shows what the catalog prints for closet rods, lighted rods, wardrobe lifts, wire baskets and pull-outs, so you can choose size, capacity and finish.

Hafele closet rods: round, oval and TAG Signature profiles
Many of our product titles say "wardrobe tube" where the catalog says closet rod. The profile decides which supports fit:
- Round, 33 mm (1-5/16") - TAG Synergy Elite (page 4.110), TAG Synergy (4.126) and the TAG rods in the new color palette (4.123A).
- Oval, 15 x 30 mm - steel or aluminum (4.146-4.149). The TAG oval rods on page 4.133C are listed as 30 x 16 mm.
- TAG Signature Collection, 19 x 32 mm (3/4" x 1-1/4"); according to the catalog it can be mounted to side panels or suspended from a shelf (4.124).
- Heavy duty steel rods, 27 or 33 mm round (4.151-4.152).
TAG Synergy Elite rods are listed in 2,337 mm (92") and 2,438 mm (96") lengths (4.110). The same rods with supports come in lengths from 451 to 1,217 mm (17-3/4" to 47-15/16"), supplied with the rod and 2 supports (4.112).
Supports: end supports for the round TAG rods have two pins for 5 mm (3/16") holes at 32 mm (1-1/4") spacing plus a screw hole for side panel mounting, and center supports are surface mounted (4.110, 4.126). Center brackets for 15 x 30 mm oval rods are surface mounted, top mounted or screw mounted under shelves; the under-shelf center support 802.07.200 is height adjustable from 85 to 105 mm (4.147).
Examples: TAG Synergy Elite rod 801.42.241 (polished chrome, 92") and TAG Signature rod 830.28.717 (black powder-coated, 92"), which the catalog describes as two-sided, one side smooth and the other textured (4.125A).
Lighted closet rods
Page 4.101E lists TAG lighted closet rods with supports: 33 mm diameter, powder-coated aluminum with a milk plastic lens and 24 V Hafele Lighting, 451 to 1,217 mm long, in five finishes. Hafele's Lighting catalog says it reflects Hafele's transition to solely 24 V offerings (page 7).
The lighted rods on our store include 12 V Elite Collection rods such as 833.96.048. Its product page lists 12 V, an 18" length and 4,000 K light, supplied with the rod, lens, a Loox5 2065 strip light, a driver cable and 2 end caps; a driver is not on that list. The 12 V and 24 V rods have different item numbers, so check the voltage.
Hafele wardrobe lifts: pull-down and motorized
The catalog calls wardrobe lifts pull down closet rods and motorized closet rods; both are chosen by closet width.
Pull down closet rods (4.164) attach to the closet sides with screws and have a 22 mm (7/8") rod that adjusts to the closet width. Three inside width ranges carry 12 kg (26 lbs.): 540-660 mm (21-1/4" to 26"), 660-890 mm (26" to 35-1/16") and 890-1,210 mm (35-1/16" to 47-5/8"). The widest range also has a 15 kg (33 lbs.) version. Finishes: chrome-plated/black, black powder-coated/black and white. Example: 805.31.302, black powder-coated, for 660-890 mm.
Motorized closet rods (4.165) have a standard version that lowers the crossbar 762 mm (30") and an extended version that lowers it 1,270 mm (50"). As printed:

The catalog lists a wireless remote that programs the upper and lower range of motion, and a 110 V plug supplied or hardwiring by an electrician. Example: 805.32.354, standard version for 34" to 48", black arm and housing.
Hafele wire baskets and pull-out racks
- Closet baskets (4.140): steel baskets for interior openings of 18", 24" and 30", 12", 14" or 16" deep and 6", 11" or 17" high, supplied with slides. The basket side has a location for the slide, and the slides add 25.5 mm (1") of width. Not every size comes in every finish.
- TAG Synergy: pants racks with full extension slides, 354 mm (14") deep, 18", 24" or 30" long with 12, 18 or 24 hangers (4.131), and pull-out hampers with removable bags in 18", 24" and 30" widths (4.132).
- TAG ENGAGE: shoe racks, laundry organizers and pants organizers in 18", 24", 30" and 36" widths, 353 mm (13-7/8") deep, with soft close undermount slides (4.106-4.108).
Examples: TAG Synergy pants rack 805.58.231 (polished chrome, 18", 12 hangers), closet basket 547.38.756 for an 18" opening, 16" deep, 11" high, white powder-coated, and TAG ENGAGE shoe rack 807.77.973, matte gold, 30" wide, for 12 pairs.
Hafele closet system: collections and finishes
Hafele describes its TAG Hardware components as designed to match one another in form, function and fashion (4.74). Rod finishes by collection:
- TAG Synergy Elite: polished chrome, matte aluminum, matte nickel, matte gold, black and slate, anodized aluminum (4.110).
- TAG Synergy: polished chrome, matte aluminum, matte nickel, black and white powder-coated (4.126).
- TAG Signature, anodized: the same six finishes as Synergy Elite; the catalog says they match Synergy Elite and Synergy accessories (4.124).
- New TAG color palette: the catalog marks new powder-coated finishes (4.74A); the powder-coated rods on page 4.123B come in black, matte aluminum, matte gold, matte nickel and slate.
So the same finish name can be anodized or powder-coated: matte gold Synergy Elite rods are anodized (4.110), the matte gold rods on page 4.123B are powder-coated. When adding to an existing closet, check the collection and the material line, not only the finish name. These are Hafele's own finish names; door hardware codes are in our finish codes chart.
