Pamex (Pamex Inc.) lists its door closer arms, brackets and covers by closer series. This guide shows the accessory numbers Pamex prints for the GC4400, GC5900, GC6800, GC8700 and GC800 closers, what each part is in Pamex's words, and the finishes to check before you order.
Start with the closer series
In the 2024 Pamex Multi-Family Architectural Guide (pages 100-109), arms, brackets and covers are listed under each closer series, so start with the series. The guide's headings:

The GC4400, GC5900, GC6800, GC8700 and GC8716 spec sheets use BF for barrier free, as in "full spring adjustment from size 1 to 6 for barrier free (BF)" on the GC4400 sheet. For the GC8700 series the guide lists GC8700 (size 3-6), GC8700BF (size 1-4) and GC8716BF (size 1-6), and for the GC800 series the GC802, GC803 and GC804, which fit door size 2, 3 and 4. Pamex prints no key for DA; on our pages the letters appear in titles such as GC4400BFDA-AL next to the words Delay Action, and the guide lists "Optional delayed action" for the GC4400, GC5900 and GC6800.
What the guide lists under PACKAGE INCLUDES
Under PACKAGE INCLUDES the guide lists for the GC4400, GC5900, GC6800 and GC8700: parallel bracket, wood screws and machine screws, full plastic cover, and sex nuts and thru bolts. For the GC800 it lists the parallel bracket and the wood screws and machine screws. All five are "Tri-packed for regular, parallel, or top jamb installation"; our door closer types guide explains those mountings.

The guide's ACCESSORIES lists (a track arm is also pictured for the GC4400, GC5900 and GC6800, without a number):

In these lists 32 of the 35 numbered arms, brackets and covers end in the digits of the series they are printed under: 440 for GC4400, 590 for GC5900, 680 for GC6800, 870 for GC8700 and 800 for GC800. The other three end in 2: GFDB442 under the GC4400, GFDB682 and GFC682 under the GC6800. The sex nuts GSB590 and thru bolts GTB590 carry 590, but the guide prints them under all five series.
Pamex's GC6800 product pages number the covers differently: GSC680 slim, GFC680 full, and no GFC682. Our store uses those numbers; tell us which GC6800 cover you need.
Arms, brackets and spacers in Pamex's words
Accessory spec sheets such as the GTA440 name the series a part is designed for ("Designed for GC4400 series door closer"). What the sheets say, by sheet:

The GFDB440 and GFDB590 sheets print the same line, but Pamex's spec sheet page labels them "Regular Arm Mount" and "Parallel Arm Mount". That page also names parts and numbers that the guide's lists do not print, such as the track arms GTA440, GTA590 and GTA680, the spring handle control hold open arms GSHCHA440, GSHCHA590 and GSHCHA680, and the GBSS680 and GPBE680. Our store also lists blade stop spacers and extra clearance parallel brackets with 440 and 590 numbers, such as GBSS440-AL, which we did not find in Pamex's lists; ask us before you order one.

The guide spells them out as "AL - Aluminum (689)", "DB - Dark Bronze (695)", "BL - Matte Black (622)" and "GB - Gold Brass (696)". Pamex's GC4400 product page prints "Matte Black (Painted/693)" instead, and our titles use BL/693. Accessory spec sheets print their own finish lists; our titles put the finish letters after the part number, as in GTA440-AL.
