Santec's own cartridge lookup starts from your valve or faucet, so the valve model or faucet name is the first thing to find. This guide shows how Santec pairs its cartridges, extension kits and service stops with its valves and faucets, and what to compare before you order.
Santec's rule: identify the valve, then compare the cartridge
Santec's online cartridge lookup opens its 1/2 inch thermostatic valve lists with "Step 1: Identify your valve with the recommended cartridge needed" and "Step 2: Confirm match of suggested cartridge with actual cartridge being replaced". Santec's cartridge pages add in their terms that, because a faucet may be a "customized build" product, "the user is responsible to first compare the existing cartridge needing replacement against the recommended cartridge listed prior to purchasing."
Cartridges for 1/2 inch thermostatic valves
Santec keeps two lists for its 1/2 inch thermostatic valves. In the current list each diverter and volume control cartridge is listed for two valve models, for example P00235 "for TH-8212 & TH-9212". The list for the older TH-8200, TH-8202, TH-8300 and TH-8303 valves names different cartridges.

Shared and non-shared are valve functions: Santec's rough valve instruction marks the TH-9210 and TH-9310 "Non-Shared function" and the TH-9212 and TH-9313 "Shared function", so read the full valve number. Both lists also include TH040, which Santec names a "Thermostatic temperature cartridge for TH-8000's & TH-9000's shower valves".
P00200 extension kit
Santec's 1/2 inch thermostatic trim installation instruction (PDF, Rev 09/2025), written for the TH-9010, TH-9210/9212 and TH-9310/9313, introduces the P00200 kit on page 06: "If the valve is roughed too far into the wall, please use the extension kit provided in the clear plastic bag." The kit's own steps follow on pages 07 to 09.
Santec's lookup names two versions, "P00200 - Cut Version" and "P00200 - NonCut Version". Both appear in the list for current valves; only the Cut Version appears in the list for the older valves. Our P00200 title does not name a version, so call us with your valve model before you order.
Service stops
Santec's rough valve instruction lists "Service stops" among the features of each of the five TH-9000 valves it covers. In the lookup they are separate parts:
- Current 1/2 inch list: TH-9000X-H and TH-9000X-C ("SMALL HEAD"), and TH-7000X-1-H and TH-7000X-1-C, both labeled "COLD SERVICE STOP-LARGE HEAD".
- Older 1/2 inch list: TH-7000-H and TH-7000-C "For VER.TW", TH-7000X-H and TH-7000X-C "For VER.CN". Santec's lookup does not explain VER.TW and VER.CN, so compare the stop in your valve.
- Pressure Balance list: PB-3600X-H and PB-3600X-C, described as "Complete brass cap and insert".
- 3/4 inch Thermostatic Valve list: TH007, "SERVICE STOP (TH-5034)".

Pressure balance and 3/4 inch thermostatic valves
Santec's Pressure Balance list, headed "PB-3600 & PB-3750", names PB-002 "Diverter cartridge for PB-3750" and SA200 "Pressure Balance Cartridge Extension". Santec's product page calls TE025 a "Pressure balance diverter cartridge for PB-3950 shower valve"; our title calls it a pressure balance cartridge and adds "2010 to current", a date Santec's page does not print. For the TH-5034 3/4 inch valve, Santec names TH010 a "Thermostatic temperature cartridge for TH-5034 shower valve".
Santec's lookup and product pages do not list TE010, TE050, TE060 or TE100. Our titles describe TE010 as a pressure balance cartridge for the PB-3800 "prior to 2010", TE050 and TE060 as pressure balance diverters for the PB-3950 (TE060 "2010 to current") and TE100 as a pressure balance extension kit.
Lavatory, Roman tub and tub filler cartridges
Santec's Wide Spread Faucet list has one page per faucet, named by collection and usually a letter code. ATHENA I HO lists "CARTRIDGE HOT (P0418-1)" and "CARTRIDGE COLD (P0419-1)". The letters matter: ALPINE II LM lists P0418-1 and P0419-1, ALPINE II RP lists P0410 and P0411. On October 12, 2026, 78 of its 113 faucet pages named only P0418-1 and P0419-1, 29 only P0410 and P0411 and 2 only P0408 and P0409; four Monarch faucets list P0410/P0411 and P0418-1/P0419-1 as options.
Santec's own pages call P0408 to P0411, P0418-1 and P0419-1 hot or cold "lavatory/sink" cartridges. Our titles give the length and key count: P0408 and P0409 short 16-key, P0410 and P0411 long 16-key, P0418-1 and P0419-1 short 20-key. Santec's Wall Mount Faucet list carries P0418-1 and P0419-1, and our titles for them name the WM-0020 wall mount.
Santec's Roman Tubs list names P0416-SH and P0416-SC ("SHORT HOT 16-KEY", "SHORT COLD 16-KEY"), P0420-SH and P0420-SC ("Short HOT 20-key", "Short COLD 20-key") and the diverter P0500R2 ("Short 20-key DIVERTER"). Our long 16-key P0416-LH and P0416-LC, the long 16-key diverter P0510R and the P0500R are not on that list. The dates "prior to 2015" (P0500R) and "current" (P0500R2) come from our titles; Santec's list prints none. For floor mount tub fillers, Santec lists P0413 as "CARTRIDGE VOLUME AND TEMPERATURE BALANCED CONTROL".
Our PO 359 and PO 513 are titled "Cartridge (SA2WAY20)" and "Cartridge (SA3WAY20)"; Santec's lookup lists neither number. Santec's product page names P0513 (with a zero) "Cartridge for SA3WAY20 shower valve", while its lookup lists the same P0513 for the TH-8300. Call us with your valve or faucet model before you order.
Before you order
- The valve model (TH-9212, TH-8303, PB-3750 and so on) or the faucet's collection name and letter code.
- Hot or cold, and for lavatory and Roman tub cartridges short or long and 16-key or 20-key, as the part titles print them.
