The drawing calls for a 6 inch Emtek pull, or you have one pull in hand and need the same design two sizes longer. The five-digit number will not tell you the size by itself, because each line numbers its lengths its own way. The tables below give the sizes Emtek prints in its 2025 Cabinet and Bath Hardware booklet for three lines: Modern Edge, Jasper and Westridge.
How size and finish sit in an Emtek number
On these lines the code is five digits plus a finish code. 87110US19 is the Modern Edge pull with 4 inch centers in Flat Black, and 87110US15 is the same pull in Satin Nickel. The digits carry the design and the size together, and they do not carry over from one line to the next: an 8 inch pull is 87130 in Modern Edge, 86690 in Jasper and 86637 in Westridge. Our product pages shorten Modern Edge to Edge, as in Emtek 87130US19 Edge 8" Cabinet Pull. Our Emtek numbers guide covers door sets and other accessories.
Center to center and overall length
Emtek lists both lengths for the pulls and appliance pulls below, and the gap between them changes with the line. Take 6 inch centers: Westridge is 6-3/4 inches overall, Jasper 6-7/8 and Modern Edge 7-1/4. So a 6 inch pull is not one length. On our pages for Jasper 8", Westridge 6" and Edge 8", the inch figure in the title is the center to center size.
Our cabinet pull sizes guide explains these dimensions from another maker's catalog. Emtek's glossary defines projection as the furthest an object extends off a surface such as a door or cabinet.
Modern Edge pull sizes
Emtek calls this a tab-style pull. Sizes are in inches, and projection is 1-3/4 on every size.
| Number | Center to center | Overall |
|---|---|---|
| 87160 | 1 | 1-1/2 |
| 87100 | 3 | 4-1/4 |
| 87110 | 4 | 5-1/4 |
| 87120 | 6 | 7-1/4 |
| 87130 | 8 | 9-1/4 |
| 87140 | 10 | 11-1/4 |
| 87150 | 12 | 13-1/4 |
The number order does not follow the length here: 87160 is the shortest size, not the longest.
Jasper pull sizes
Sizes are in inches, and projection is 1-3/8 on every size.
| Number | Center to center | Overall |
|---|---|---|
| 86686 | 3-1/2 | 4-3/8 |
| 86687 | 4 | 4-7/8 |
| 86688 | 5 | 5-7/8 |
| 86689 | 6 | 6-7/8 |
| 86690 | 8 | 8-7/8 |
| 86691 | 10 | 10-7/8 |
| 86692 | 12 | 12-7/8 |
Westridge pull sizes
Sizes are in inches, and projection is 1-1/4 on every size.
| Number | Center to center | Overall |
|---|---|---|
| 86633 | 3-1/2 | 4-1/4 |
| 86634 | 4 | 4-3/4 |
| 86635 | 5 | 5-3/4 |
| 86636 | 6 | 6-3/4 |
| 86637 | 8 | 8-3/4 |
| 86638 | 10 | 10-3/4 |
| 86639 | 12 | 12-3/4 |
Which line has an appliance pull or a knob
Emtek's collections settle this for two of the three. Jasper belongs to Industrial Modern, with the Brandt and Haydon knobs, a finger pull and an appliance pull. Westridge belongs to Timeless Classics, with the Paxton, Lawson and Kenter knobs and an appliance pull. Modern Edge has no entry on the booklet's appliance pull pages and no knob under its name, though Emtek's Modern Edge page shows the Globe Cabinet Knob among its related products.
The appliance pulls come in two lengths each. Sizes are in inches, and projection is 1-7/8 on Jasper and 2 on Westridge.
| Number | Line, center to center | Overall |
|---|---|---|
| 86693 | Jasper, 12 | 13-3/8 |
| 86694 | Jasper, 18 | 19-3/8 |
| 86640 | Westridge, 12 | 13-1/8 |
| 86641 | Westridge, 18 | 19-1/8 |
For the knobs, sizes are in inches, and the first figure below is the one the booklet prints as dimension. The finger pull has an overall length and a 1/2 inch width, but no center to center figure.
| Number | Piece | Size, projection |
|---|---|---|
| 86695 | Brandt knob | 1-1/4, 1-1/4 |
| 86696 | Brandt knob | 1-3/4, 1-1/2 |
| 86697 | Haydon knob | 1-1/4, 1-1/8 |
| 86698 | Haydon knob | 1-3/4, 1-1/2 |
| 86699 | Jasper finger pull | 2 overall, 1-3/8 |
| 86642 | Paxton knob | 1-1/4, 1 |
| 86643 | Lawson knob | 1-1/4, 1 |
| 86644 | Kenter knob | 1-1/4, 1 |
Finishes on these lines
Emtek lists the same six finish codes for every piece in the tables above:
- US4 Satin Brass
- US10B Oil Rubbed Bronze
- US14 Polished Nickel
- US15 Satin Nickel
- US19 Flat Black
- US26 Polished Chrome
To compare these codes with other brands, see our door hardware finish codes chart, which lists all of them except US14.
Screws and thick drawer fronts
According to Emtek's FAQ, each knob or pull comes with two sizes of screws. For extra thick drawers or doors, the same answer points to the same screw type in a longer length.
Matching cabinet pulls to Emtek door hardware
Emtek's FAQ answers this in one sentence: "Yes, Emtek offers cabinet knobs, pulls, and appliance handles that coordinate with their door hardware finishes for a cohesive look." So the finish code is the link. If the door set is Satin Nickel (US15), Emtek lists that code for every cabinet piece above. French Antique (US7) is not on those lists.
In French Antique, some designs reach both the door and the cabinet, and Providence and Norwich are two of them. Emtek's Providence door knob page says the design is also offered as a cabinet knob, and the Norwich has a door page and a cabinet page under the same name. US7 is on the finish list of all four pages. The cabinet knobs are 86013, 86014 and 86027 for Providence and 86610 and 86611 for Norwich, with the finish code after the number, as in 86014US7. Some of our titles say Antique Brass for US7, so go by the code.
Other Emtek pulls
Emtek's SELECT cabinet pulls, smooth or knurled, are outside these tables, since the booklet presents them as a mix of stem style and finish with numbers of their own. You can browse all Emtek products or our cabinet knobs and pulls from every brand.
