You need a door stop that matches the rest of the door hardware and can be fastened where you actually have room. Deltana's headings for these stops, in chapter 5 of its Catalog Version 26.0 and on deltana.net, name that place for the baseboard, floor, wall and hinge pin types. The finish list then changes from series to series. The catalog offers tables and very little selection advice, so the charts below follow its headings. They are a selection rather than the whole chapter, and the names and sizes are Deltana's.
Reading a number such as BDS30U19
In BDS30U19 the series comes first and the finish code last: U19 stands for US19, which Deltana calls Paint Black. The codes are listed in our Deltana finish code guide.
The digits are a poor guide to size. FDB218 is 2-1/8 inch and DHK5 is 5 inch, but BDS30 is 3-1/4 inch, BDS125 is 1-3/8 inch, UFB5000 is 2 inch, and UFB6000 and UFB7500 are both 3 inch. Go by the size Deltana prints. Even that figure measures different things: overall height on the DSF3225 and MDH30 spec sheets, length on the BDS450 page. HD means heavy duty.

The BDS450 is extendable. Its page mentions adjustable application and a poly bag with 3 extensions, and gives a 7/16 inch tip projection. Its spec sheet shows 4-1/2 inches assembled, from 3 inch, 1 inch and 1/2 inch pieces.

The product pages add details the tables leave out. The UFB5000 page says it comes with both black and grey bumpers, and replacement rubbers are covered in our Deltana small parts guide. The DSF3225 is packed with wood mounting hardware, whereas Deltana names the DSF444 a cement floor mount.
The same deltana.net section also holds the dome stops, DSLP316 (low profile) and DSHP916 (high profile), and universal bumpers with pattern caps (UFBP4505, UFBP5000) and dome caps (UFBD4505, UFBD5000), in 1-5/8 and 2-1/8 inch.
Wall and flush bumpers
DSW325 is a 3-5/8 inch wall mount bumper, and SAHW325 is a wall mount bumper with holder. The flush bumpers sit under the catalog heading Flush Bumpers, Wall Mount:

Hinge pin stops: match the stop to the hinge
A hinge mounted stop needs no wall, floor or baseboard. Deltana says these stops install on an existing hinge and limit how far the door swings open. HPSS70 is not a stop. It is an extended button tip, 5/8 inch high and 1/2 inch across, with a longer neck that leaves room for a hinge pin stop. The catalog prints beside its table: "Extended button tip is needed when using hinge pin stops on brass hinges." Deltana lists it in the same twelve finishes as the HP70.
Kickdown holders and magnetic holders
Deltana says its kickdown holders stop the door from closing at a chosen position until someone releases it by hand. The DHK4 is 4 inch, the DHK5 is 5 inch and the DHK7 is 7 inch, HD.
Deltana offers its magnetic holders as a way to hold a door open without heavier door closers. The series include MDHM (2 inch, modern), MDH30 (3 inch), MDH35 (3-1/2 inch) and MDHF25 (flush, 2-1/2 inch), plus the DSM125 magnetic dome stop. The MDH30 sheet draws two separate pieces, one 3 inches tall and one 7/8 inch tall, without naming a mounting surface.
Where the finish list runs short
Check the finish early, because the catalog tables are not identical:
- No US19 black listed: ZBDS30, SDS3, SDS375, UFBS25, WB178, WB238, WBC238, WB250, WBC250, DHK7, ZHP70, 44368.
- US3-UNL unlacquered brass listed, for example: BDS30, BDS425, UFB4505, UFB5000, FDB138, WB100, HP70. Not listed, for example: BDS125, BDS450, DSW325, MDH30, HPA69.
- Five finishes only, US3, US10B, US15, US19 and US26: DSF800, DSF830.
- Very short lists: MDHM (US19, US32D), FDBB134 (US19, US32, US32D), SDS3 (US3, US5, US26), 44368 (US4, US26D).
