Blum Part Numbers Explained: Ident Numbers, References and Color Codes

This guide explains Blum's two numbers, how references look for hinges, TANDEM runners, LEGRABOX and AVENTOS, and Blum's color names, so you can match our product pages with Blum's documents.

Blum Ident number and Reference

Blum's AVENTOS HF to HF top Conversion Sheet lists each part with an eight-digit Ident number and a Reference, for example these lever sets:

• Ident 07893366, Reference 22F3500 - for cabinet heights of 600 to 910 mm (23-5/8 to 35-7/8 inches)
• Ident 06927662, Reference 22F3900 - for cabinet heights of 840 to 1219 mm (33-1/8 to 48 inches)

The same eight digits start our titles for these lever sets: AVENTOS HF top lever set 22F3500 and lever set 22F3900. The sheet's HF/HS/HL top cover set has one Reference, 22.8000.NA, but a separate Ident for each color: 08313828 light gray, 08647678 dark gray and 03097097 silk white.

The AVENTOS top technical brochure prints the same 22F3500 as Part no.; the LEGRABOX guide uses the label Reference number.

Of our 949 Blum titles, 824 start with a seven- or eight-digit number. In the Blum documents used here, we found that number as an Ident only for four AVENTOS HF top items, such as the HF top door hardware set 78Z5530T28 (Ident 07774244). Elsewhere, treat it only as the number at the start of our title. Our Part Number line (BLM_) and codes such as B071T3550 are not printed in those documents either; compare the Blum reference shown in the title or description, such as 71T3550.

How Blum references look by product family

Of the documents used here, only the Hinge Identification Guide prints a key; for the other families, the patterns are only visible in the examples.

Hinges and mounting plates

The Hinge Identification Guide (LIT.HNG5200.07.25) explains each position:

• 71B3550 and 71T3550: the letter is the style - B for CLIP top BLUMOTION, T for CLIP top. The guide shows 71B3550 as a screw-on CLIP top BLUMOTION hinge; 71T3550, in the description of our 110 degree full overlay self-close hinge, is the guide's CLIP top 110 degree number 71T35X0 with 5 (screw-on) in the attachment position.
• 175L6660.22: 7 is the CLIP series, 5 means zinc die-cast, L means one-piece (H is two-piece) and .22 an off-center face frame mount, as on our 6 mm face frame cast plate.
• 38N355B.08: a COMPACT BLUMOTION 38N hinge (105 degrees); 8 is the 11 mm (7/16 inch) cup depth, the second 5 means screw-on, B is COMPACT BLUMOTION and 08 after the period a 1/2 inch overlay. Our 105 degree COMPACT soft close hinge has it in its description.

TANDEM runners, locking devices and brackets

The TANDEM plus BLUMOTION brochure (LIT.TDM1100.07.25) lists 563H runners for a drawer thickness of 13 to 16 mm (1/2 to 5/8 inch) and 563F runners for 16 to 19 mm (5/8 to 3/4 inch). For a 533 mm (21 inch) drawer length they are 563H5330B and 563F5330B; our 21 inch TANDEM 563H runner is titled 563H5330B01, an ending the brochure does not print.

• Locking devices come as a right and a left device, T51.1901 R and T51.1901 L. In the brochure, a suffix marks the version: T51.1901.20 is vertical mount, T51.1901.PS depth adjustable (our T51.1901 PS locking device).
• 295.3750.03 is a non-handed rear mounting bracket for face frame cabinets.
• 295H5700 is the pull-out shelf lock set for frameless cabinets.

LEGRABOX drawer sets

The LEGRABOX V1 set ordering guide groups drawer sets by height; in every row, the letter after 770 or 773 matches the height group, as in 770N50S0S. Page 2 prints each height:

• References starting 770 are listed under "125 lb LEGRABOX drawer sets", those starting 773 under "170 lb LEGRABOX drawer sets".
• In the tables, the two digits after the height letter match the nominal length: 770N50S0S is the 500 mm (20 inch nominal length) set.
• One reference covers orion gray, silk white and carbon black ("Specify color when ordering"); stainless steel has its own reference ending in I, such as 770N50S0I.

Our 20 inch LEGRABOX N height kit shows 770N50S0S followed by SW, and its description spells it out as Silk White.

AVENTOS lift systems

The AVENTOS Program Overview lists each system's parts, such as lift mechanisms 22F2500 (HF top) and 20K1501 (HK-XS). The AVENTOS top technical brochure lists the HF top and HK-XS lift mechanisms by power factor range - 238-1188 for 22F2500, 70-158 for 20K1501 - and explains how to calculate the power factor.

Blum colors and finishes

Silk white is SW-M in the LEGRABOX guide but SW for AVENTOS top cover caps, so use the code printed for your product. The letters DGK, LGK and WHK after some AVENTOS references in our titles are not printed in the Blum documents used here.

• For kits, Blum's hinge instructions page says: "Match the number on your package/product purchase (e.g., H001) to the instruction sheet below." The runner page uses R001 as its example.
