Salice Futura and Progressa Drawer Slides: Lengths, Clips, Sockets

In Salice's USA range, Futura and Progressa are full extension concealed drawer runners fixed to the drawer by front clips; Salice describes Progressa as an undermount runner. This guide reads their part numbers as Salice's current USA catalogs print them, to help you match a slide, its clips and its rear sockets.

Futura part numbers: A7555, A7955, A7557, A755

A Futura number such as A7555/457 CP6 is the article, then the length after the slash (key, page 11). Articles (index, page 2):

• A7555 - Smove soft close, for 13 mm (1/2") to 16 mm (5/8") drawer material
• A7955 - Smove soft close, for 16 mm (5/8") to 19 mm (3/4")
• A7557 - Push, for 13 to 16 mm
• A755 - Self-closing, for 13 to 16 mm

According to page 30, on the Push version a slight pressure on the front opens the drawer, which is latched when closed; it is for blocked out face frame cabinets or frameless. Lengths: 229 to 533 mm (A7955 from 305 mm).

Progressa and Progressa+ part numbers

Page 12 prints the key G _ U _ _ _ _ _ _ XF _:

• 5 = Progressa, 7 = Progressa+.
• 6 = for 13 mm (1/2") to 16 mm (5/8") drawer material thickness; 9 = for 16 mm (5/8") to 19 mm (3/4"). The packaging tables and product pages (pages 12-13, 32, 38) give 19 mm (3/4") for the 9 versions.
• S = Soft close, P = Push to open. Push is listed for Progressa+ only (index, page 2).
• Three digits: the drawer length, 229 to 762 mm.
• X or C: the cabinet member (see below).
• Last digit: 6 pairs (229 to 533) or 2 pairs (610 to 762) per box. These are Salice's box sizes; ask us what one unit on our product page contains.

Example: G7U6S457XXF6 is Progressa+, for 13-16 mm drawer material, soft close, 457 mm (18") drawer length, X version. HD and F70 in some of our titles are not part of Salice's numbers.

Drawer length (LC), runner length (LN) and cabinet depth

The size in a part number, and the inch size in our titles, is the drawer length (LC), not the runner length (LN). The Futura key calls it runner length, but the ordering table (page 25) lists A7555/457 CP6 with LC 457 mm (18") and LN 467 mm. Minimum inside cabinet depth, a selection for a 457 mm (18") drawer length:

With a plastic socket Salice lists more (A7555/457 CP6: 483 mm; G5U6S457XXF6: 489 mm); without a socket the Progressa X minimums are 475 to 477 mm (pages 25, 31, 33, 37).

X or C: standard or short cabinet member

• X = standard face frame cabinet member: face frame application without or with filler behind frame, and frameless application; lengths 305, 381, 457 and 533.
• C = short cabinet member: face frame application with filler behind frame, and frameless application; lengths 229, 457, 533, 610, 686 and 762.

For the X versions of the 13-16 mm Progressa and Progressa+ (pages 31 and 37) the catalog notes: "Please note that any load over 75 LBS requires a filler in addition to rear sockets." Next to the sockets it prints "Use of rear sockets for any load above 75 Lbs is not recommended" (pages 31, 33, 37 and 39). The C tables list no socket depth, and page 9, printed for the Progressa+ short version, says rear brackets and sockets cannot be used for these runner lengths (457 to 762 mm). Our Progressa+ titles call the X versions Smove Socket and the C versions Smove Block Out.

Load ratings as Salice prints them

• Futura A7555 (page 24; the same lines on the A7955, A7557 and A755 pages): "ANSI - Grade 1" and "Load capacity: 100 lbs static/75 lbs dynamic."
• Progressa (pages 30 and 32): "120 Lbs Static load capacity".
• Progressa+ (pages 36, 38, 42 and 44): "170 Lbs Static load capacity".
• Both Progressa lines: "Meets and exceeds Ansi BHMA A156.9-2020 Grade 1 standard; WI approved".

The introduction on page 4 gives "dynamic loads spanning from 100 to 154 lbs" for the two Progressa lines, with the footnote "Per Ansi BHMA A156.9-2020 Grade 1 standard in a frameless cabinet using a 21" runner length and a recommended number of fixing screws."

Clips, rear sockets and accessories

Each clip is listed as a right and a left part. Match parts by Salice number; some of our titles describe them differently.

• Futura clips (pages 14-21), for example A750.010 (Standard mount - with 6 way adjustment) and A710.610 (Height adjustable clip).
• Progressa front locking devices (pages 18-21): AFCGXX3B (Standard mount - Side and depth adjustments) and AFCEX56B (Standard mount - Front and side fixing), both for all Progressa, Progressa+ and Progressa+ Shelf slides; AFCGX43B (Vertical mount - Side and depth adjustments) and AFCEX43B (Narrow drawer clip), both for all Progressa and Progressa+ slides.
• Futura face frame rear sockets (pages 42-43): steel AGSKXC5 standard and AGSKXR5 narrow; plastic ASO755AJYD plug in, ASO755AJND screw on and ASO755NAND9 for the 9" Futura runner.
• Progressa sockets (page 59): metal AGSK7C5B standard and AGSK7R5B narrow, for all Progressa and Progressa+ slides; plastic ASOG5G7AJYD plug in and ASOG5G7AJND screw on, for Progressa slides.
• AGLRXX3F tilt adjustment lever: optional, for all Progressa and Progressa+ slides, maximum 3 mm (1/8") rise of drawer back (pages 27 and 66).
• Stabilizer for drawers, A6869400000202 on Salice's Futura A7555 web page: to be installed on both right and left sides of the drawer (Futura page 46).
• Futura drilling templates (page 44): A199800755010 for the 6 way adjustable clip A750.010, A199800755009 for the standard clip A710.610. The Progressa clips have their own templates (pages 60 and 63).
